Once upon a nightmare, in a city much different from yours or mine, there lived two young monsters named Caramel and Liquorice. They loved each other dearly, and would spend as much of their waking moments together as they could. But no such moment was as exciting as when the breeze grew chilly, the trees began to shiver off their leaves, and the air grew thick with witchy cackles, creature cries, and the aroma of delicious sweets.

And so, arm in arm and dressed to the nines, Caramel and Liquorice struck out on their annual adventure to seek candies and goodies from their fellow city folk.
